lol i was reading some crazy thing that indicated that .....hold on *does research*

"Intel has already announced the Core i7 Quad Core for the coming year, which, thanks to an integrated memory controller and a shared L2 cache, both should use up to 25% less energy and at the same time should work even more efficiently. We can't wait."

And what does that have to do with mobile CPUs? Core i7 is a desktop processor, so the 25% less energy giddyness is still more than what laptops use. QX9300 uses 45W, which is pretty blazing hot in laptops. We're talking about 3 times the heat for an i7 and definitely not even twice the performance of a QX9300. It also requires DDR3 RAM, this baby will not be cheap if they pull it off.

It doesnt say it has a core i7 in it. It leaves you with a cliffhanger, stating it will be released when the mobile core i7's will. So chances are its not having a core i7 in it. The cpu would have to already be out for a motherboard to be made around it. Motherboards do not just take a week to design, so I can bet it will just use a santa rosa or monteveina platform cpu.
Notebookcheck is not a very reliable source, so you better wait and see what else comes up on the internet about it.
I know I am never buying from them again,

'mobile Intel’s Core i7 should accompany it'

Its likely to be the mobile quads, which is out in Q2, come in either 55 or 45 W. As intel noramally likes to start by putting most powerful one out first, I'd say the likes of Q9000's replacement will be 45w, while extreme version is probbably 55w.

Aren't Voodoos with 2GHz processors running like $2000? I dont expect this to be affordable.

Premium brand, can't exactly have everything... interesting that apparently first wave of mobile quads will not have QPI, but DMI instead, err...
