I'm not sure of that, but I hope that it would be as well.

In their website. It says "3 years limited warranty". Its competitor IBM T series have inter-warranty, i wonder if HP will provide this or not. I really hope they will, any N8230 owner can tell us?

You can call HP and find out, they're nice people. And the sales people are Americans. :p

Emailing them is a good option too.

By "international" do you mean being able to receive service/repairs anywhere in the world?

I've always assumed you had to upgrade to one of the "Global" Care Pack Services if you want warranty coverage outside of your country of purchase. EG. there's "3-yr Next Business Day" and "Global 3-yr Next Business Day".

It should be international warranty. I have a HP NX6125 and asked this same question to HP before I bought. Here is their reply:

The warranty type on the HP Compaq nx6125 (product # PZ220UA#ABA) is a
"Global 3 Years limited parts and labor". If you buy this product in
Country A and the product breaks in Country B, you should first contact
any HP Customer Support Center. Support phone numbers are listed in
    your
user's guide, or you can call the main number in the US, which is
800-474-6836. You will be entitled to the standard level of warranty
available in Country B, providing HP markets that product in Country B
and/or has a support presence in Country B.

If HP does not market your product and/or have a support presence in
Country B (Global Warranty), then the product will need to be moved to
the closest country where HP does have a support presence. When HP does
not have a support presence in the country of use, all actions and
    costs
required to gain warranty services are the responsibility of the
    customer.

I've just checked mine and mine is only for my country. There is another package for the international warranty.
