    The specs aren't of high level but I think are more than sufficient for my need... also in ratio of the price...

    I like that the business models give you the option of a 1x1GB stick instead of 2x512MB. This way, you can upgrade the ram without having to toss any out. :)

    congrats on your new lappy, it is a good , solid and well designed laptop , I love its professional look too.

    although it is a durable laptop , you whould baby it..it may be a bit heavy for always toting around with you but its battery life is long , lasting 4 hours on a charge on average.

    Yes... it is effectively a bit too heavy but I'll not need to bring it with me every day.
    Or... so I hope.

    As You may know... my first choice was R61 but it was a little too expensive for my little budget.

    The Dell 1400 is not more available in Italy and so... I've chosen the one that seems to me have a good price/quality ratio.
