I own a new HpCompaq 6720s Notebook, can anyone out there guide me on getting the audio to function properly. The speaker is inaudible. How can I increase the volume to play and enjoy good sound output.

    Thanks. Femi Fadairo

I do not have the answer BUT to say I have a similar issue. "fn" then f12 and the mixer tab are all on 100% yet this gives a tiny difference. really the sound is really far too low.
I wonder how many others have this problem?

You can't. The sound on the 6720s is ridiculously quiet, not much you can do about that besides buying some speakers..
