    Hello,

I am shopping around for a new laptop and the new dv6t has really caught my attention. I am having a lot of trouble researching the laptop however. What exactly are all the model names? There seems to be a lot of versions of the dv6 and the following is the one i am looking at configured to an i5 processor with a high capacity battery. What is the below one called besides DV6T because a google search by that name does not really show many results with the following laptop's image. Is there also other places this is sold besides the hp store?

HP Pavilion dv6 and dv6t series | HP Official Store

Also can anyone please offer any reviews of this build? I am really looking for things such as performance and battery life.

Lastly, are there any coupons available at this time to drive the price down? And if so, where are these found?

Thanks a lot for any help

Edit: Oops sry about the title. I meant dv6

The dv6, like all HP laptops, are customizable. The base dv6t that you've linked to is officially called the dv6t-CTO (customized to order). All other dv6 laptops that have been preconfigured will be called dv6t-XXXX, with 4 random digits. There's no pattern for naming the preconfigured laptops.

    Dv6 z = AMD Based
    Dv6 t = Intel Based

I believe M as in Dm4t is for the thinner and lighter laptops, while v like in the Dv6t is the more standard laptops. Also HP releases $200+ off coupons a few times a month, you just need to sign up for some type of Tech Deals email, I think I found mine with LogicBuy.

Thanks for the quick replies! Can anyone please comment on the battery life on the regular cherry black dv6t with a core i5 upgrade? I am looking for the standard and high capacity battery numbers so i can finally buy one.

Also for the coupons is it 200 bucks off the total price of the build or do you have to fulfill some set price point before the 200 is put in effect?
    Thanks
