I have a DV9233cl with identical specs - not sure if there are any differences or not really - I saw a list on the HP website which lists all of the DV9000 series models, and it went on for pages!

Anyway, I love mine, and the pricepoint was the same. I purchased at Costco, and used a coupon, which pushed the price down by $150.00, which was nice.

My only thing really is the battery - left in the machine without being on AC power, it will lose about 12% per day. However, left out of the machine fully charged it will hold 100% for several days.

Not sure what's in there that thinks it's "on" when the unit is turned off that causes that, but I have learned to travel with it out of the machine until I need to pop it in to begin work.

Other than that, I don't have any complaints!

    Good luck~
