anyone else have this model? Amazon.com: HP Pavilion dm4-1160us 14-Inch Laptop PC - Up to 6.25 Hours of Battery Life (Argento): Computer & Accessories

I can't find reviews for it anywhere, my cousin bought it yesterday from Frys and hasn't it open it yet til she finds some good reviews. Just bought it as an impulse purchase and she wants to avoid 15% restocking fee so she hasn't open it yet.

It has some good specs though shes using it for college. I can't find much info on this laptop either is it new?

It was released a few months ago. Its a decent laptop, but don't expect to do any high end gaming on it. Also 6 hours of battery life seems overly generous.

    looks good...

but if you are buying a 14 inch, you can look at acer 4820T..it comes with the same processor, better graphic card (5650), better battery life and is light weight..

I think it would cost about the same..

    Good luck.

Its a good loptop, Ive been using one for the last couple weeks.
Check the HP site, they have a couple different modles and you can also do a custom build.

HP also offers a student discount. and no restocking fees.

Costco also sell one of the DM4 and even offer a refirb DM4 for around $699.

I just ordered a the Envy Beats to replace the DM4.

    Hello,

Does anyone have an follow up reviews on this laptop? Ive read good and bad reviews, so not sure. Office Depot has it on sale now for $549.00. Seems like a good deal. But some of the reviews said they got the blue screen a couple days after buying it and HP support is useless. I'm open to any quality laptop under $600. I need a printer also --- mine just kicked the bucket.

Any info on this or other deals is appreciated. Sale end 4/2/11 ---so I gotta move fast.

Not a gamer, so not worried about that. I use it for surfing the net, word processing, pics, videos, youtube, might start selling on ebay also --- thats about it.

    Thanks
