    In the US, you can already get that Imprint design on the Verve notebooks sold only at Best Buy.

    Dont worry about the model numbers HP seems to be fond of changing them as they please. The dv2600 is nothing but a dv2500 which is again just an updated dv2000 series notebook. Since the UK/rest of the world doesnt get CTO(custom) models as in the US the pre-configured systems get discontinued and a new one with a different model number pops up. Essentially it is the same laptop with a different/updated specifications. Ofcourse then there are special editions which have different designs. But essnetially underneath they are the same laptop.

    Yeah. I'm hoping a dv2600 may emerge in the UK (with LED screen ?) and a decent processor with the 8400M to escape Dell's m1330 fiascos.
