    Hi All,

    Is it possible for this model HP DV6-6001TX upgrade to maximum 16GB Ram since is the same processor like HP Dv6-6114tx and this model is upgradable maximum ram to 16GB.

    FTW...

    You don't need more than 4GB of RAM...
    If you do alot of Photo- or Videoediting then 8GB is way more than enough!

    idk about the ram but the best method for installing on a ssd with HPs is to back up the SWSetup folder and make a backup of your activation using ABR as well. also run the HP recovery disc creation (needs 4 discs) and make a windows 7 install disc (free, not illegal or anything).

    then just run reinstall windows 7, clear the partitions, install windows on the ssf, and run the ABR to activate windows after its finished. then go into the SWSetup folder and install all the drivers

    Even if it does. The notebook wouldn't be fast enough to use ist.

    I just bought my hp pavilion dv6-6001TX is it just me or the camera is good but it is slow?
