Ok I have a question, with all these problems with this sandybridge dv7 (especially the drivers for the graphics card and ...do you guys thinks its still a better than a dv7 selection edition with core i5 2.66 ghz and 1gb ati radeon hd 5650?... I just want to make sure that I pick the laptop that will last longer down the road and will be able to handle most future games at medium settings...

The going joke is that ATI has no drivers. You're still better off with the 6570M over the older Mobility HD 5650 variants.

The new graphic card is DDR5 and also it compares to the 5700 series of the old generation so any day newer ones are better and ATI will be providing the driver soon coz its a new one :)
