    Hey all,

My first post and it's in the form of a question been bugging me for a while, I'm pretty computer savvy but can't figure it out..

Connected to the tv just fine, but for some reason when the laptop screen goes off (obviously computer is still running) I lose the signal to the tv also, the only time it stays while idle is when i'm watching a movie. You can imagine how annoying this is when playing music, i gotta either keep the screen on or keep moving the mouse to prevent laptop screen from going off..

I'm using Windows 7, and I know its in power management, but where is the setting that lets you set situtations like "Keep signal to HDTV forever" or something, signal is lost when the screen goes off

    help!

If you have an ATI graphic card is in catalyst control center CCC, if you have a geforce it is in whatever is named the Nvidia controls.

In CCC>power play settings you have battery/Plug in settings

    also there is:

windows control panel>power options> choose when to turn off the screen

That doesn't help me. Re-read my first post, I'm trying to keep the signal live on my tv when my laptop screen sleeps
