hey all, i have a pavillion dv8225nr that had a fan problem so i ordered and replaced the fan and now after it goes past the hp screen it starts beeping like mad, i cant even count it.. pressing caps lock makes the beeping go away and so does pressing escape ( which just goes to the boot order changing screen ) other keys dont stop the beeping.

    has pheonix bios
    thermal paste is properly applied
ive ran the HDD test in the bios and it passed
i ran memtest86 and it looked like i got some errors but i really dont know how to use the program would that cause the excessive beeping ?
i can get into a fedora 8 live cd by pressing caps lock to get rid of the beeps, tried deleting my windows partitions and installing fedora and i get the same beeps.
all the wires are in correctly unless a part is broken

im not getting any error messages just beeps, if anyone has any idea's my ears are open =) thanks in advance
