    Very goood morning to all.

I just would like to thank anyone in advance for assisting me with this issue. For some reason my HP computer won't play any sound at all. I have checked to make sure the speakers aren't muted, nor the specific sound file I am trying to play. I have searched for about 3 hours this morning online to no avail. I have uninstalled the "IDT HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO codec" along with reinstalling it. I then get the following error "The igmatel audio driver must be removed. please uninstall the sigmaltel audio driver from the system and then run this installer again.

Yet when I hook my computer up to my tv via hdmi the sound works perfectly. Would someone please be as kind as helping me with this issue please.
