Hi guys, I want to change the CPU from the i3 370m to an i5 540m does anyone have a disassembly guide i can follow? As for those who already changed the CPU was it hard? Thanks in advance.

You could try reading the first post in the owner's lounge.

    Also, my advice.

    A. Don't take it off without having your own thermal paste. You might not be one of these people but I know they're out there. Never re-use the thermal paste on the CPU.

    B. As long as you're careful to not forcefully pull everything out you should be fine. Make sure everything's inserted and every screw you took out is put back in.

    C. To pop up the keyboard you have the push the button under the battery cover and I'd recommend you have a small screwdriver or something to push up the middle and far edges of the keyboard since it's actually in very tightly.

    Other than that good luck.
