    Hey all!

Not sure if this has happened to anybody else but whenever I try to open up my HP MediaSmart Webcam, it for some reasons states that "No video device detected. Please plug a video device into your computer. If you are using an integrated camera please make sure that it is turned on".

I had this issue 6 months ago and I sent the laptop back to HP for them to repair it. Unfortunetly this webcam issue has come back and now my warranty is gone. I have updated my drivers but still to no avail....

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

PS - On a side note, if HP has repaired a part from my computer in the past and it breaks down again, would they replace it again even if my warranty is gone?

Yea I do believe companies give warranty on the item that was repaired but it would be around 90 days from my past experience. And again check with HP as this is my experience with another company.
