I am looking for a new laptop for my sister just for her very basic computer needs..like surfing the web, word, email etc..
I am looking at this or the dv5t, my dad has the new dv5t so I know it is pretty good, but the G42T is a bit cheaper. I tried to mess around with this at Best Buy but it wasn't there. Just want to know any opinions on the G42t.

    HP machines are just fine.

BB return and repair procedures suck. They are first of all designed to intimidate the consumer to prevent returns.

In the case of BB and Geek Squad, it is imperative that the consumer stand up for themselves and not let BB/GS delay you when they are incapable of fixing a machine quickly. As in a day or two.

    Return Defective Merchandise. Always.
