I have a Dv 2225nr and it has an "APOLLO AND ATLANTIS MOTHERBOARD ISSUE", i sent is in ( this started in 12/07) after 3 delays i received the FIXED notebook back 02/18/08 it worked for 2 hours same problem blank screen on reboot.

I was told send it one more time and we will fix it or replace it . They also said it would not be replaced with the "APOLLO AND ATLANTIS MOTHERBOARD". Per Mike Hogland case manager, he also said to call and ask for him. Now he will not come to the phone and so all the nice talk about I will take care of you is out the window.

Now they say no parts until the 18th of march !

So how long is to long ?

    What can I do ?

Any other numbers to call ?

    help please

    Thanks

you will have to speak to your case manager about all concerns.. best you can do is seek for a replacement laptop as you do not have the time to wait that long. they have failed to repair your laptop

Ask to speak to the manager and then file a complaint with the bbb

6 to 8 weeks is what EU's are normaly quoted... I know its frusterating for you, I'm sure the person repairing your unit is just as frusterated.... Cause I know how they feel, sometimes you order part after part and get a DOA part every time... But is the service company can 'parts N/A' which would in turn give you a replacement unit.... The problem is the service company needs to know when to say enough is enough and give up.
