    Hp Pavilion DV4 replacing screen issues?

    Purchased an entire top cover and screen assembly for this unit from china [please see image attached]. First issue, the original assembly did not have the blue and red wires, the seller said "ok..the red and blue wires you no need work it,install it in your laptop or cut off it,it's WWAN or 3G cable for some of DV4 series laptop." so I cut both wires at the base and taped with electrical tape, is this correct?

    Second issue now the black and white wireless card connectors does not fit so I am thinking best alternative may be to cut the connectors off of the original screen and replace and join to the new assembly wires after cutting them off, would this work?
