    I'm wondering if the HP pavilion Dv6-6b05tx has switchable graphics (from discrete to intergrated (vice-versa) ) Because I've searched many sites and they don't specify if they do or not :confused: .
    Also, is it possible to change the 5,400 rpm hdd to a faster rpm (7,200)? Like DIY, without "digging deep" into the laptop?

    Yes and no. It looks like the system has two gfxs [intel hd 3000 and a 6770M]
    but the video outputs [hdmi, vga, lvds] are connected to the intel hd gfx so
    it has to be active all the time.

    Yes, the hdd, ram and wifi are all easily accessible. [Just a knife, screwdriver and a bit brute-force]

    Just wanna ask another, small question :). What is the estimated battery of a 6 cell battery? with intergrated graphics? and without intergrated graphics (discrete/dedicated)?
