Some time ago I've decided to buy my first notebook, so I've been searching for one that can fit my needs.
I was planning to spend about 1250$, and I found some nice laptops: Acer Aspire 5611, ASUS F3Jr, ASUS X50V. They all have nearly same price and specifications: 1,6-1,7 Dual Core procesors, 120GB HDD, 1 GB Drive, Radeon x2300 / GeForce Go 7300.
And then, I found this one - HP PAVILION DV6565EN. It costs execlty the same like Asus, but... Turion 64 X2 1.8 Ghz, 2 GB Ram, 160GB Hdd, GeForce 8400m GS (It also has both Bluetooth and webcam, other notebooks have onely one of these). This surprised me, cuz I get like 60% better notebook for the same price. So i've googled and got absoulutely no info on EN model, however I found some info about US model, and it has different specifications (Core 2 Duo 1.5, 200GB HDD, 2GB Ram, Intel GMA X3100 video card).
I'm very confused right now. Is this model 'real', or there's some kind of mistake on online store's page?
And if it's real, can anyone tell, is DV6565EN a good chosie?

It should be real considering I see several retailers offering this model. Plus HP's service manual also includes information for motherboards with both the 8400M GS GPU and the AMD Turion processor for the dv6500 series notebooks. These models are not currently available in the US but have you checked the HP website for your region or comtacted them?
But the 8400M is definately better than the Go 7300/X2300 although it is still a mid range card. The dv6565en or there seems to be s dv6565eo with similar specifications have no relation to the dv6565us(Intel+integrated graphics) or the dv6565ca(Intel+dedicated graphics). -
Yes, I've checked HP website for my region, and they have only 6200 for my region
I think I'll go to the store myself and take a closer look at this model.
Thanks for answer
