First of all, sorry for my english, it's not my language so maybe there were some errors :D

I've an Hp Pavilion dv5-1080el that use a JMicron Jmb38x internal card reader.
(sorry but i can't post the datasheet, it's my first post)

I know that is possible (with USB reader) to boot with a Sd... So maybe i can do the same with my internal card reader?
Can someone with the same Host Controller try? I've no Sd and i don't want to buy and maybe can't use it...

    thanks

I don't have my Dv5 handy right now but if you can go to the BIOS or boot options(Either ESC or F1 key during bootup it'll list the available boot options which you can select

Theres no legacy support for the SD card reader as far as i know.

    The only boot devices are
    -USB
    -HDD
    -CD-ROM
