    My rig has at this time 512mb pc2700 333 MHz ram and would like to know if anyone has tried to use 667 MHz. I am looking at a gig for 25 bucks someone bought and cannot use.

    i wouldnt reccomend trying it for yourself, but you can always check your laptop at www.crucial.com to see possible upgrades. then you can see if your laptop can accept that mhz

    No, it won't work. 667 RAM is DDR2, 333 RAM is DDR. You cannot upgrade from one to the other.
