well after months of trying and two model changes, i had to do it!... i have cancelled my order with Hp Shopping UK...

They are the most clueless bunch of people i have had my misfortune to do business with. I orginally placed my order with them back in early April, the order was for a Zv6065ea model. Good specs and good value. but after 8 weeks were they couldn't supply me and me having to call them up on the progress of my sale i found out that they have discontinued my specific model, it took a further 4 weeks for clarification of the transition model to come through, the zv6179ea. But now they don't have an eta of the delivery for the new model. hopeless!!!...

so it looks back to the drawing board for me, and to stay away from hp shopping...

Maybe they'll cut you a good deal if you protest, being that you have been a good customer in all.

mwillman, i was talking about HPshopping in the UK (england) not in the states. HpShopping in the US, seems to be more pro-active and customer oreintated.

i phoned and spoke to both my customer sales advisor and her manager quite often (well, every ETA they gave me, i phoned and spoke to her to make sure they had the laptop and then they would issue me with a new ETA)...

it seems easier to buy hp/compaq laptops from resellers in the uk.

I,m sorry if that thread sounded alittle harsh I am sick right now and its making me a little short.

I hope you can get your situation resolved. They should at least give you a nice backpack or something for all your time that they have wasted.
