    Hi

About 5 months ago my HP Tx1250 ea died after having it 18 months. After fighting with Hp 3 months i eventually gave in as they do NOT CARE!

I then went out and brought a Dell studio 1555 with 3 year warrenty. I am very impressed with it, great screen.

I want to try and fix my tx1250ea for university, because it is easy to take with me.

I have seen the following video

Instead of a 1p coin i will use

I wondered if it was a long term soloution? I dont have a 200W Light, what else could i use? Is the Shim effective?

    Thanks
