1300$ tax & 5-7 day ship. incl. (to philly at least) use coupon code NB3434

tax depends on where you live. so i cant tell you how much you will pay, but if youre paying 7% or more, then its gonna be about the same price as this (maybe 50-75$ less than this one)

it all depends on what you use your laptop for.
if you use it for business, then its passable
if for gaming, consider the one i showed you from HP, or get a 15" with the 9600M GT graphics card (stronger than the ones in either laptop)

also it depends on your budget. what are you trying to keep it at? speaking of budgets, mine was set @ 1700$, i was so pissed a day after i ordered my DV7T when i found out that the 30% off coupon came out and they dropped the prices on the HDX18T. i coulda gotten the HDX18T for 1717$ (tax and ship. incl. with the coupon code NB3434) :

    2.53 Ghz intel core 2 duo t9400
    3 GB ram
500 GB 5400 rpm HDD (single)
    Vista ult. 64
    bluray w/ lightscribe supermulti 8x
    bluetooth and intel wireless-N
    HDTV tv tuner
    Two 8 cell batteries
    9600M GT

you dont know how pissed off i was. and the rly sad thing is, if i wanted to get it, id have to go thru the process of returning the one im waiting 4, and waiting for the refund to get this one, thus the coupon expiring .

The dv3510nr is at least built to the same standard as the dv4/dv5 models, which use very high quality materials and feel more solid than a lot of competitors.

The dv3510nr is one of two models that BEST BUY sells under it's new "Blue Label" brand. It has a few features that aren't (yet) available on other HP models- Backlit Keyboard and the nVIDIA 9300M GS graphics card. The dv4t uses the weaker 9200M GS and it is the entry-level discrete GPU for the dv5t. A 2-year warranty is also part of the "Blue Label" brand.

The dv3510nr has a 13.3" LED (1280x800 resolution) display and it weighs 4.6-pounds. The dv4t has a 14.1" LED (1280x800 resolution) optional and weights 5.1-pounds. The dv3510nr is only available in the "Bronze" color scheme, while the dv4t comes in Onyx(Black)/Chrome or Bronze ($25 upgrade).

The dv4t, equipped as closely as possible to the dv3510nr, is $1032.49 (after 30% coupon). PLUS $119.99 for the 2-year warranty upgrade.

A dv4t with a faster 2.26GHz Intel P8400, 3GB RAM, High-Capacity 6-cell Battery BUT without the nVIDIA 9200M GS (Intel GMA 4500MHD instead)- would only be $947.79. Plus $119.99 for the 2-year warranty upgrade (a questionable value). The nVIDIA 9200M GS costs $150 more than the Intel integrated graphics, overpriced in my opinion. If you can live without the graphics card AND backlit keyboard of the dv3510nr, this is the way to go!

Here are reviews of both products, take a look...

One other SIGNIFICANT difference- BEST BUY vs. HP.com Return Policies.

BEST BUY- 14 days from date of purchase & 15% restocking fee ($165 on an $1100 item).

HP.com- up to 21-days from delivery of product, FULL refund (excluding original shipping cost) and they even pay for the return shipping.

If there's any doubt that you'll be 100% satisfied after a week or two of using it, HP.com does offer a bit of a safety net!

Can anyone help explain how to use the wireless n feature on the dv3510nr? Hp Support hasn't been the most helpful and Intel's customer service has been non-existent.

Under wirless modes under the device manager for the wireless card, there is 1. A Only
    2. B Only
    3. G Only
    4. A /G Modes
    5. B / G Modes
    6. A / B / G Modes

HP support is telling me I should have an option of N under this list. Is this right?
