    Hi
I just got a new dv4t (dv4-1070ee) and its working great. Except the QuickTouch buttons. Only the wireless and volume control works, the rest dont.

I have updated the driver for QuickTouch and QuickLaunch but nothing changed.

I've read some people have had this problem, is there a way to fix it?

    Thanks

i have yet to get a permenant fix for this issue...but yea you're not the only 1. my mute and wireless QuickLaunch buttons are stuck on orange right now

your the first ive read to have the other buttons not work lol...this sucks, HP says they are working on fixing the issue and that it lies within the BIOS'

dount it will fix it for good, but you can try re-installing the HP QuickLaunch drivers from HP, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3745839

That happened to me too, but I read someone's advice, and then I tried it and the buttons work again.

    1) Turn off computer, and unplug everything
    2) Take out battery
    3) Press power button for a few seconds
    4) Put everything back, and turn on ur dv4t

For any1 else who has this issue with the buttons not working i'll say this:

NOTHING you try will work. I've tried every single thing that can be done from system restores to BIOS updates, nothing will ever work! get it exchanged when u can..
