So I just upgraded to the dv6000t from an old z5000 pavillion. The battery on my old hp lasted about 6 minutes in the end. I have heard best not to keep them plugged in and not to over heat but what about keeping them plugged in and without the battery.
Pro's and Con's to this. Or anyone with experience in this have a suggestion. I have the 12 cell battery and I would like to keep the battery over 300 to 500 charges if possible.
    Thanks,
    michael
