I've downgraded my hp dv9930us to xp, the only problem I'm having with it is that the dvd burner that comes with it is now seen as a dvdram drive but I can read cds and dvds but not blank disks. I was wondering if I were to update the chipset If that would fix the problem (I did not do this when I downgraded).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
