I'm planning on replacing my HDD on my hp envy 14-2002ea, the user manual is here:

    http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02878045

The only issue is, I was wanting to replace the HDD with this SSD.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-256...&qid=1436581704&sr=8-3&keywords=ssd+2.5+256gb

As the SSD is clearly 256gb, and on p10 of the manual it does not state that that SSD configuration is possible, is there any way that I will be able to use this SSD? As ideally I need more than 160gb, which seems to be the maxmimum supported SSD capacity for this laptop

The Samsung 850 Pro will work 100%. Don't worry.

I have the Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB in my Envy 14 (same model as yours). Super easy to install. Just pop open the back panel, remove the screws, and replace the HDD with the SSD. Straightforward.

Btw, what you were reading on page 10 doesn't concern you. mSATA is different than the normal SATA connector. This is what an mSATA looks like. (m = mini).
