This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hp envy 14 internet keeps shutting off

    THis is a recent but very annoying problem. On my envy 14 the internet now randomly shuts off. And when I go to trouble shoot it says wifi is not enabled (even though it is). Seems the only way to fix it is to close my computer screen and reopen it.

    Anyone encounter this problem? Ready to send it back to hp if it doesnt stop

    you need to install the update from intel. here's the link . Mine doesn't disconnect randomly anymore :)

    These ones (link shamelessly stolen from the drivers thread) are newer...

    Strangely, HP's site doesn't seem to offer them - justinkw1 got the downloads from Dell's support website, but presumably they work just fine - I haven't had any reason to update, so I'm still on the earlier drivers.
