Hp express card tv tuner for pavillion dv6000

Ok so im up at college and for me the tv tuner is a god send. I use it mostly as a recorder so i can watch shows later or watch different shows than my roomate. I got it when i got the laptop last summer. I have always had it plugged into the cable and gotten a nice clear signal. However when I returned from spring break with the computer and tuner something changed. Now i get a really odd, grainy, picture with little multi colored pixels running thorugh it. I still get over the air digital HD signals ok but analog cable and analog over the air are completley screwed up. Any suggestions? The below picture is a screenshot of my cable signal:

 

Some basic stuff would be any major changes or updates, ie driver or Sp1? You may want to try reinstalling your driver, or resetting all the settings. Could you connection have changed, maybe try your tuner with another cable/plug. GL bud

 

I would agree with you about the try a different plug except that the ver the air analog signals are also really crappy

 

sorry bud, I wish i had a tuner so i would have some more xp plus a sick goodie. There is always the reformat, but thats a *********
