    Hp mini 1139NR

    Does it only support 1gb of ram?

    And what hard drive size does it use 1.8' or 2.5'?

    1.8 gb IDE HDD and yes it does support 2gb of Ram. Really easy to change in these ones, take a ball-point pen, pull back the latch on the opposite side of the battery latch (looks just like it) and you will see an eye (piece of metal with a hole in it) hook that with the ball point pen, and push the pen towards the back of the laptop. This will pop the access panel off the bottom of it, allowing you to access the RAM chip. 667mhz DDR2 ram will work, most ship with 800mhz memory, if you had some kicking around 533mhz would work because thats all the board runs it at anyways. As far as the HDD goes, you could have time finding one bigger than a 60, I think they may have an 80gb out.
