    Hp notebooks pc restore

    wud some one help me please...
    i have a note book, hp g7000. bought ut last yr. it had vista home premium 32bit installed wen i bought it. it also had a recovery partion.

    i then deleted the local disk leavin de recovery partion intact, after which i installed vista ultimate 64bit.

    now i want to recover my pc to its factory settings, shipped state... but when i restart and hit de f11 button, nothin happens.

    wud any one help me please. and wat do u think wud happen if i delete one of ma partions to remain wit recovery partion and restart de pc?

    You sure you hitting F11 at the right time? Try pressing it a couple of times right when it starts up, also try doing "shut down" then power the computer back up with the power button. Hit F11 every second and see if it takes you to the recovery menu..couldnt find any alternative solutions on HP's site..

    You Either:

    A. Installed over the partition

    or

    B. Installing vista from disc messed up the boot record. For some reason even hitting F11 still goes through the MBR.
