    I am about to buy a dv2700t notebook with T9300 processor. I was wondering how soon would hp come up with notebooks carrying the to be released next month new Penryn processors with 1066 front side bus. And is there going to be a major difference between it and 800 bus processors in terms of performance, heat .. etc.

    prbabaly, but only if u do heavy stuff like encoding or gaming.

    You won't notice too much of a difference with gaming, because the major limiting factor with laptops is the video card. Even though the newer models are offering much better video cards, they are still the bottle neck for gaming, not the CPU.
