    I would like to keep my downloading active once i ce already closed the lap and kept it in sleep mode.. Is there any option for that...????

    You can't actively download in sleep mode, and it is recommended to keep your screen open while your computer is on, as it a mode of heat displacement.

    Try investing in a download manager that shutdown or sleep or hibernate after download completion.
