I have the DV6T Quad Edition and I installed the Synaptics v15.2.7 driver, and I can't turn off the touchpad anymore. It can't change its color from white to orange. Does anyone know how to fix this??

The general Synaptic driver found on there site does not have that feature. You will need the HP Synaptic driver. You can find it on the HP drivers site or (if you did not reformat) in C:\SwSetup\drivers.
As a side note, you can turn off the light by pressing fn + SPACE.

    Hello there speedking,

do you mind giving me the direct download link?

I have this issue as well and it seems that the latest driver of synaptics does not function well with HP's dv6.

Your help would be much appreciated.
