I've been shopping for weeks and I finally pushed the button on a DV9220US. A tad more than I wanted to spend but still a pretty good deal for 1299.00 after 150.00 in rebates from Amazon, no tax and free shipping.

Core 2 Duo T5200
2GB RAM
Dual 80GB hard drives
GeForce 7600
bla bla bla

All of the new Pavilions are selling like hot cakes at Amazon. The additional 100.00 Amazon rebate is tough to beat anywhere else. This Laptop has been out of stock most of the time but occasionally they get a few in so check often if interested.

Nice config, and I think that's a great price, and yes Amazon does have some great prices with rebates right now on both HP and Toshiba systems. Let us know what you think of the notebook once you get it!
