I have a v2000z with the 6 cell battery and I get a % of my battery life but not an ETA on amount of time I have left.

Is this normal cause my dad has a v2000 (pentium M) and he gets an ETA on time left

    Thanks

Nope that's normal, there isn't one for the v2000z. I hear it's because the chipset used doesnt support it.

Yeah, I noticed that with the L2000..I didn't like that cuz I was used to it on my Vaio with a Pentium-M. Now I have my v2000 with a Pentium-M as well and I have the battery life remaining in hrs/mins. Something small but I appreciate it.

if you want you can still get it by some small apps..
some of them have the mac os feel to them.
truetool bar is another program that works pretty good and has lots of different wigets to use.
