The way the government has taxes setup for online businesses and buying is if the business has a physical location in your state you have to pay tax. If the business doesn't have a physical location in your state then you don't have to pay tax. Its saved me a lot of money from buying things online, too bad that HP has an Ohio location or I would've saved another $100.

Its right when you are going to check-out. You have to add the laptop to your cart, login or register if you don't have an HP account, then you input in inside the final screen (there will be a slot that says coupon code, you won't miss it when you get to that point).

Yeah, we got in on the 20 percent coupon deal.. But I did not click on the free upgrade to lightscribe when I ordered mine. I wanted to change the order and called HP to see if I could re-order.. they said they would try to cancel it but also offered me another 100 dollars off if I just keep the regular dvd burner. After I received the system they said they would give me the extra 100 off. They didn't but I called again and now I see the credit.. So I guess I ended up with close to 30 percent off as well.

Anyone who is thinking of a dell.. don't.. they have allot of build quality and display issues.. The HP has a superior design and is much nicer then the dells. If only these deals would have been here a few months back, I would never have gone the dell route and eliminated all the frustration of waiting, and getting a replacement and finally sending both back for refunds.
