After reinstalling drivers and such from a clean install of Vista.

My Pavillion dv6500t is not making the usual clicky noise it makes when i drag my finger across the volume bar, nor when i just press vol +/-

    Any suggestions or a fix?

did you add both of the setups that start with a Q in the SWSETUP folder? Thats what I would do. I did a clean reinstall of a 6500 and i can hear the soundfx.
