If you have to ask, you already know what you want to do.
Get what you want . . . otherwise you will be posting polls the rest of your life.
-
Do you play games? If you do, stick with the 15.4". The 8400M GS is a lot better than the 6150, and is a lot newer with DX10 support as well.
-
I doubt CC will let you return it if there arent any problems with the system without slapping 15% restocking fee. They might let you exchange if you havent opened up the box with another system of equivalent/higher price. But you will have to ask at the store and check out whether its possible to do this.
Having said that the dv6565us is still a pretty decent system and unless the bigger screen, faster cpu and dual hard drives are a deal breaker for you, I would suggest keeping the dv6565us. You avoid the hassle of trying to return it and the 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo is still quiet capable and coupled with 2GB RAM it shouldnt have any issues running everyday applications or Vista.

If CC takes it back with a 0% restocking fee, then go for it. Otherwise, they'll likely charge you 15% to return it, in which case it's not worth it at all.
-
If you haven't opened it there should be no restocking fee.
-
I would stick with what you have, like stated earlier, the 8400 is so much better then the 6150
-
Anyway, it probably is not worth exchanging unless there is no fee. Otherwise, keep what you have and it will serve you well. -
If the box hasn't had its seal broken and it is under 14 days, you can get a full refund from CC. Been there, done that!
-
Hey guys it told my mother to break the seal the same day she bought it to ensure everything was in the box. I did this because I knew of their 14 day return policy and since I may have very well have stayed additional days I wanted to ensure everything was present in the box.
So I guess im stuck with this crappy laptop.
I will put it up for sale as soon as I come back.
This is my first circuit city purchase over let's say $20 always patronizing Best Buy and it so mad with myself for breaking my pattern.
Thanks again for all your replies. -
Hey guys I bought the DV-9428nr from Best Buy it freaking ROCKS!!!
I love it and of course I thanked my Mom for travelling another xx miles to buy it for me.
Now I have two laptops and am putting the DV-6565us up for sale.
Ive already started getting calls.
ROCK ON HP, ROCK ON!!! -
Im looking into buying one for my parents. They arent into gaming just normal everyday use like surfing, email and webcamming with us when they go to florida for the winter? Would anyone here really say this is a crappy laptop? Also, does the Intel X3100 support Aeros functionality?
-
The ad for the DV9428-nr doesnt mention anything about wireless? Does it have wifi? and which card?
