Specifically any other DV2000 owners.. How does your LCD compare to this?

Tomorrow is the last day I can return my DV2422ca, and I'm considering getting the DV2550SE instead for 300 more (if the screen is that much better). This is an AMD/Nvidia based notebook with an NVD0800 screen. I've seen one of the same model and the screen was almost exactly the same.

dv2500 i love this screen so clear not much light leakage either but this is a thing that personally doesn't bother me, if it really bothers you upgrade.

I didn't vote in the poll.

My HP notebook (although a lot older) has light leakage too. It's not too noticable in word-processing. But it's really noticeable when watching a widescreen DVD or viewing something with a dark background. It really doesn't bother me, but it might bother other people. I'd go back to Futureshop (I'm assuming that's where you purchased it) and see what the associates can do for you (remember that they're on commission too and don't want to lose a sale).

But the DV2550se at Best Buy is a good deal this week. It's $400 dollars off plus you get a free printer on top of that too. I was seriously considering buying the DV2422ca at Futureshop this week for $849.99...but personally I would rather purchase the DV2550se because of the new processor and specs.
