    Hey,

As far as i know, dv6t is supposed to have 4 speakers, 2 below the screen and 2 below the touchpad. Although today while listening to music I noticed the left speaker below the touchpad isn't producing any sound or vibrations unlike the right one.

Do i have a faulty speaker or they're supposed to work this way?

Ceeluk, I want to make sure it's not working first.

I did a test in the sound settings, and it worked just fine:

But when i play music through any player (WMP, foobar, winamp...) It doesn't work. Is anyone having a similar problem?

Check WMP under: "view>enhancements>graphic equalizer" and then within the sounds properties applet under "volume control". Just making certain that the balance is where it is supposed to be. If you have been playing with the Beats Audio app, you can check there as well.

The dv6 has four speakers, but only two channels. Expect stereo but not quadraphonic sound.
