If you could have a refreshed envy 14 or a return on the envy 15, which would you prefer?

I think I would prefer a return of the envy 15. HP does not seem to be able to find a replacement for the radiance screen at the odd sized 14.5" on the envy 14, so they should switch to a form factor where higher quality panels are in more abundance.

I'd also like to see some sort of rework to the internal design. Preferably try to fit an 80 to 100 watt/hour battery inside the casing, ditch the optical drive OR, allow for the choice of either an optical drive or the extended battery that takes up more space. That or more cooling space or space for a larger and more powerful gpu.

They should shoot for a thinner bezel screen like the new samsungs or those new lg panels, so long as the panels are higher quality.

It kind of seems like the envy has stagnated a bit, not sure if my perception is correct but that is my sense.

I also prefer the envy 15 + fullHD. Simply one of the most amazing things about the 15. More space thanks to the 15.6" AND resolution. And DVD drive is removed, again a HUGE advantage (read: chance for 2nd HDD/SSD bay, better cooling, more powerfull components)
