Well, now that I've taken years off of my life and had my blood pressure come to near fatal levels, I thought I would pass a little common sense advice along to you all.
I called to return my third envy today and asked for a simple exchange. It sounded like everything went well, I boxed up the old unit and dropped it with the good natured fed-ex gentleman below my building. However, when I looked at the exchange transaction in my pending history, the system that was listed had different (worse) specs than the one I returned.
Long story short, making the relatively easy process or swapping out two items ended up taking about 50 minutes on the phone, 2 talks with supervisors, and a call to the 'resolutions' department. I'm too frustrated to re-cap all that transpired, but just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case someone else fell into the same scenario. I'd hate for a replacement system to show up with different parts than you ordered, making you go through the whole process again.
If you exchange your envy, verify the exchange carefully
