Haven't heard Canadian posters mention this, but if you want to buy an Envy in Canada, you should undoubedtly buy it online from costco.ca

Buying it from Futureshop and BestBuy is a total rip off, high prices, only 14 days to return and 1 yr manufacturer warranty.

Costco sells it at lower prices, you have 90 days to return and they extend the Man. Warranty to 2 years (no shipping charges too)

They have the 17, 15 and 13 inch.

13 inch Envy is $1000 with 3 GB Ram, 250 GB HDD
    15 inch (1270CA) is for $1700 with 8 GB Ram, 640 GB HDD / (1050CA) 6 GB Ram, 500 GB HDD for $1300
    17 inch with 8 GB Ram, Blu-Ray, 1 TB HDD for $1850

I almost got the Envy 15 from futureshop... thank god I stumbled upon costco and my Envy should arrive here this week :D

those are really good competition compared to the competition

of course, BB or FS will price match plus 10% of the difference

true, but you still get only 14 days to return and only 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Plus I dont enjoy relentlessly trying to be haggled into getting an extended warranty by the futureshop staff :D

You could send it through a package forwarder to the USA? There's also someone on Ebay selling envy 14s from the us to canada iirc
