Hi there,
I have been looking at HP laptops for some time now and have found that they are MUCH cheaper when buying in the US. Specifically, I'm looking at the Pavilion DV6500t and have found a nice looking system on Ebay.
The only problem is that, when shipping over the boarder for the United States into Canada, there may be some risks in terms of taxes and duties. I looked into the Warranty issues and they seem to be fine as HP accepts both Canadian and American bought laptops as equals, in terms of Warranty.
If anybody has any useful advice or can refer me to a useful site that would be great. Please DO NOT post anything like "i heard that..." because i am looking for people who have had first hand experience in the matter or have a reliable source.
Thanks a lot for you replies and if you have any questions, I would be glad to answer them!
