I'm JUST about to take the plunge and order the dv5z. The last thing I'm unsure of is whether or not to get the Infinity display. It sounds like something I would like (sleek looks), but I would like to see some pictures of it (doesn't necessarily need to be the same model). I've perused and tried searching the forums, but can't seem to find any. Does anyone have any they'd be kind enough to share? Or have a link to some here I may have missed?

    Thanks in advance!

You can see it in person at your local Best Buy if you have one nearby. They now sell the HP laptops that have the Infinity display.

Thanks, I think I'll do that. I didn't realize Best Buy had systems that included the Infinity display (the particular one I was looking at online didn't)

I think they look really nice and sleek. But it does contract a lot more distraction due to the reflections. I can see myself even with the monitor on. But still nice.

I dislike the Infinity Display. It's too glossy. It's not for people that like to relax outside on a warm day or have moderately bright lights.
