Often deliveries come before the estimated arrival time.

yes, i imagine you should argue for free shipping and some "compensation" for your wait.. perhaps a nice accessory or addon

Hell you're lucky. I ordered on Sept. 26th, estimated ship date is OCTOBER 26th. Made me cry almost. :(

Well it's 2-day SHIPPING. I'm sure the HP rep will tell you that the SHIPPING time doesn't include the time it takes to make your laptop.

Of course, you can try to get something out of it. I certainly would try to get some compensation if I paid for 2-day shipping and didn't get it in 2 days.

    WHAT!?

Maybe I should complain more. But I thought 3 times would be enough -_- (no tracking number as of yet)

    Then that'd be FedEx's fault.

But, contact HP to get a refund if it is indeed late.

That is definitely insane. I went with the free shipping and had it in two business days (shipping time--not including the two weeks to build it, of course).

Clearence delay is very common for HP laptops... Mine too got stuck with Clearence delay..

Both HP and Fedex say that it is not there fault and both have no idea when the clearence will be released.

You got to be patient and keep checking the status of your shipment.

The 2 day shipping is pretty much after it hits the US. It has such a long estimated delivery date in case it has issues getting out of China and into the US.
