Can anyone tell me how to make the unit accept the 80Gb HDD. HP said 99% sure it will work, but it won't. It recognises the HDD - It formats the HDD it copies the files from Win XP no probs but when it reboots to install Win XP it stops saying error reading drive.
Please has anyone had this problem?

Two things to try: run MemTest86+ for about half an hour to verify that your RAM is OK (bad RAM has caused WinXP installs to fail for me before), and go to your HD manufacturer's website and get their HD diagnostic tool. Your RAM is probably fine, but I suspect your HD is bad.
